Some projects turn thorny and stay difficult right to the end, which is
an accurate depiction of a recent project in Hartford, CT. However, in

finish. True to form, Glidepath overcame innumerable project problems
and delivered to Bradley International Airport (BDL) a modern and
efficient baggage handling system to serve Terminal A.

Glidepath commenced its work on the Terminal A Renovation Program in May
2005. Glidepaths baggage handling system work was scheduled to be
completed in a coordinated fashion with the building work portions of
the project performed by the General Contractor. The baggage handling
work was scheduled for completion in 2006 and total project completion
was scheduled for early 2007.
Due to numerous delays in the building construction, the project was not
completed until summer of 2010 more than three years late and twice as
costly as originally forecast. As the project morphed over time into
something far different than planned, Glidepath and many of the other
subcontractors shouldered the increased burden and pushed forward at
substantially increased cost. This project was troubled from the start.
But where others might have faltered, Nationwide Conveyor and Glidepath
worked together to deliver a quality system, said Richard Bugryn,
Nationwides Director of Operations.
Now that the project is complete at last, the airport and its airlines
are able to provide greater convenience and customer service that are
hallmarks of BDLs competitive posture. Glidepath is pleased to have
finally fulfilled its mission, as well. When asked why Glidepath
continued on with the project at such great cost, Greg Wheeler, the
